Australia could in fact be better off if ex Prime Minister Kevin Rudd is brought back as the leader of the Labor party, despite the fact that Labor is still not likely to win the election.

Hypothetically, if Mr Rudd is in power again, he will seek revenge against those who removed him undemocratically from Prime Ministership. Perhaps this will once and for all destroy the power of the faceless union men who are dictating the governing of Australia.

The unions are not in favour of Mr Rudd, they simply used him to get Labor to victory in
2007 because without Rudd, Labor did not have a chance of defeating John Howard. When their purpose of bringing Labor back into power was completed, they undemocratically booted Mr Rudd from his seat.

The union power in Australia needs to be controlled and regulated. Currently, they have their Fair Work choices implemented, their excessive powers enhanced, taxes created and implemented to stifle the business/economy through which they hope to use the wealth creators’ to dish out more welfare to boost their supporter base.

Basically even though they represent only 14 per cent of Australians (and declining), this well funded minority group was able to take control of our so called democracy , hijack our country and its $360 billion per annum tax revenue, boot Australia’s elected leader and run up a debt close to $300 billion.

Therefore, Rudd coming back into power even though he is unlikely to win the election is perhaps ideal because he will smash the unions.

This can be done easily, even without touching the Fair Work Act (which is a play on words as it is hardly fair to businesses that are the engine room to the economy).

Mr Rudd if returned to Prime Ministership has the ability to ensure that unions are brought under the Corporations Act which means they will be treated the same way as the business community they negatively impact.

This may also result in many Union Officials going to prison for their illegal behaviour that they execute as currently they think they are above the above the law (as seen in the alleged Craig Thomson case, Grocon dispute and AWU scandal). Such behaviour is not dissimilar to the way the mafia operates using thuggery, extortion, secret slush funds and whatever resource they can exploit to achieve their own agendas.

Moreover, if unions are brought under Corporations Law, they will have to pay taxes like the rest of the Australians which they won’t like and ultimately be coerced into answering to the laws of our country.

Mr Rudd will also be in a position to reduce union power in the Labor Party thus ensuring that our political system is never abused again and no Prime Minister is undemocratically booted from their seat- which is only fair and the way our country should be run.

Grace Collier from the Australian Financial Review makes a very salient point stating that the best way for Rudd to have his revenge is by “killing two birds with one stone by announcing a royal commission into the AWU scandal involving Gillard”.

Such an action would bring delight to many people who are sick of our country being hijacked and abused by people who arbitrarily steal power.

The above reasons are important enough to make it worthy of seeing Mr Rudd in power, even if he is only returned for a few months before the September election where Labor is destined to suffer a large defeat at the hand of angry voters.

It wouldn’t be surprising if unions try every desperate tactic to keep Gillard as the leader and cover up her involvement in the AWU scandal by viciously attacking Mr Rudd’s character to smear his reputation as an attempt to stop him from coming into power even more so then when they attacked him viscously a year ago.

Rudd will do more damage than Abbott to the Unions.

Mr Rudd will be able to progress Australian politics from the 19th Century by limiting the power of the corrupt union officials.

This is why I have been emphasizing on the pressing need for a new 21st Century Political System to prevent faceless union men from deciding who our leaders are when we as voters in a democracy are meant to make that choice.

The majority should rule.

Here’s to the return of democracy and the eradication of the corrupt powerful dodgy unions that infest our political system by abusing Workers Union Funds, installing their puppet leaders to serve their profiteering/racketeering agendas, stealing the wealth of hard working Australians and squandering the future of the next generation.

Mr Rudd could become one of the few Labor leaders other then Mr Hawke and Mr Keating who have been capable of benefiting the country and its progress - something Gillard can only ever dream about achieving.
