I love travelling I love economics

Full Content

I love travelling.

I love economics.

I love observing human psychology and also cultural psychology, the collective psychology of an entire nation.

And I love finding solutions to obvious problems, because they generally require nothing more than strategic, intelligent thinking and a large dose of common sense.

The same strategic, intelligent thinking and common sense I used to turn my finances around from almost bankrupt in my 20s to self made millionaire.

And it’s the same thinking I share with many others, producing countless financial success stories.

What’s interesting is the journey. I take people on, to help them transform their thinking from poverty to abundance.

From financial struggle to financial success.

Once achieved, wealth magically starts appearing more in one’s life.

Sounds unbelievable, I know, but then again most people are aware of the law of attraction and law of action, which, when combined are quite effective at becoming wealthier.

However, I’ve noticed what holds individuals back, also holds entire countries back.

And that is the limited mindset about life and money many people are culturally conditioned into.

Most people have an unhealthy relationship with money and as a result, are poor.

Where does this mindset come from? Largely from our schools.

Our schools were designed in the 19th Century in the industrial era. The age when powerful workers’ unions reigned supreme, and if you just followed the system and didn’t think for yourself, you could have a safe, secure factory job for life.

They’re effectively socialist schools, designed to create mass numbers of employees.

However to become financially successful, one needs to be able to think strategically and intelligently, and use common sense.

Something kids aren’t taught at school. In fact they’re often taught to stop thinking for themselves.

Before starting school, a 5 year old is far more creative at thinking and solving problems than an 18 year old after 12 years of a socialist school system that teaches ‘failure is a bad thing’, despite failure being the key to success.

They’re taught little about money, and taught by people who predominately became teachers for a safe, secure government paid job (effectively those who accept and adopt socialism as the way to go).

As a result we’ve created a culture where most Australians are hopeless with money, just like I was.

We aren’t taught accountability, responsibility or that we need to take massive action and think for ourselves to succeed.

We’re taught to conform, follow rules, don’t question, dare not rebel; get a safe, secure job and you’ll be taken care of.

What changed for me?

After losing everything, sleeping on a friend’s couch almost bankrupt, I decided to get a real education.

So I went out and sought a mentor. A millionaire mentor. Someone with a PhD in results, not theory.

A capitalist, not a socialist, like many of my well-meaning schoolteachers.

And I learnt how to:

• Save

• Invest

• Have multiple incomes

• Build million dollar plus business, with no money

• Add value

• Create jobs

• Make profit

• Take action

• Ultimately make an impact, and a difference

You see when I was following teachers who believed in socialism and taught a socialist mindset, the results in my life were not overly great.

Let’s be honest. They were pathetic.

Yet after learning from a capitalist, I became rich beyond my dreams.

Could it be this simple?

The reason so many people are not financially successful is they follow socialist thinking; they listen to Socialists; they even sign up to unions, which breed socialism (unions that may have been needed in the 19th Century when capitalists were exploiting workers, but have outlived their purpose now).

They listen to our socialist treasurer attacking capitalists like our billionaire miners…

Yet they’re broke, just like our current government.

So those with socialist belief systems either consciously or subconsciously (due to their unfortunate cultural conditioning) tend to fail financially in society and rely on government handouts, whether on cushy government jobs, highly union-protected jobs, or actual handouts.

They’re also the ones easily manipulated by the politics of envy and the socialist politicians who bribe them with money for votes because they have nothing else to offer.

Yet those who have a more capitalist mindset tend to become investors, entrepreneurs, entrepreneurial managers, executives, professionals and so on.

And become wealthy as a result.

Which leads me to my next point:

How does this affect a country?

Well let’s look at the nations that used to have strong socialists in power, i.e. communists.

Countries like Russia and China years ago, for example.

These countries had mass poverty and wrecked havoc on people ensuring many lived a miserable life.

Whereas western societies that moved to embrace capitalism, such as America and Australia, boomed.

But notice what’s happening now.

Countries like China, Russia and Brazil are becoming economic superpowers.

Not thanks to socialism but because they have moved to capitalism.

While countries in the west like America, and in Europe such as Greece, Italy and Spain, are struggling due to the move towards socialism, which knowingly destroys the abundance potential in individuals and entire nations.

Where does it leave Australia?

Australia has a battle going on.

The socialist government is destroying wealth as fast as they can with their dangerous politics of envy and wealth distribution (confiscation) but we’re not drowning yet, solely because of capitalist China booming as a result of good economic government management (unlike ours) and our successful capitalistic mining companies.

It’s very obvious what will happen in the future.

Countries embracing capitalism are growing. Those allowing socialists to be in power, even for a few years, suffer greatly.

For me, if you want to be a real socialist, become a capitalist first.

Add value. Create wealth. Contribute. Make a difference.

And use your wealth to help others.

Become a compassionate capitalist, a social entrepreneur.

Someone who wants to make a difference and – with capitalist thinking – actually can.

The world needs compassionate capitalists. Not more culturally misguided, conditioned socialists with good intent but flawed ideology.

That holds individuals and, as we can see, entire nations back.

Will Australians learn these valuable lessons in time?

One can only hope.
